Directions
The main entrance to Samakanda is on the Udagama road which turns off the Galle-Matara road opposite the entrance to Galle Port about one kilometre east of Galle. Stay on the Udagama road for approx 30 minutes, until you see the 20km post. Then turn right onto the Samakanda drive after 200 metres, opposite a statue of a soldier holding a Sri Lankan flag.
